10 Years of IBB
2013 marks the IBB’s 10th anniversary. At the last Education Symposium Switzerland and International School Leadership Symposium, we celebrated with colleagues and partners. The first day of the symposium was dedicated to the anniversary with speeches by Prof. Dr. Brigit Eriksson, President of the University of Teacher Education Zug, Bernhard Gertsch, President of the School Leadership Association Switzerland, and Jenny Lewis, Executive Director of the Commonwealth Council of Education Administration and Management as well as board member of the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement, Sydney/Australia, Prof. Dr. Stephan Gerhard Huber, University of Teachers Education, Zug, Switzerland, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Oelkers University of Zürich, Switzerland, Prof. Dr. Rolf Dubs, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and Prof. Dr. Louise Stoll, Institute of Education, University of London, England. Prof. Dr. Herbert Altrichter, Johannes Kepler University Linz/Austria and Member of the IBB’s International Academic Board, provided a review about the institute’s profile, fields of work, range of topics as well as concrete research projects and their outcomes.
