Stephan Gerhard Huber is Head of the Institute for the Management and Economics of Education at the University of Teacher Education Zug in Switzerland. Besides he is a Coopted Member of the Erfurt School of Education (ESE) University of Erfurt, Senior Research Fellow Hong Kong Institute of Education, Honorary Research Fellow Faculty of Humanities School of Education University of Manchester, and Adjunct Professor Institute for Education Research Griffith University Brisbane.
His fields of interest are organisational education, system counselling, education management, school effectiveness, school improvement, school management, professionalisation of teachers and educational leadership personnel (school leaders), and the effectiveness of staff development.
His publications are in German and English. He publishes in international book series and journals, and he gives keynote speeches at international symposia and congresses. Moreover, he is a peer reviewer for international key journals and chairs several professional networks. |
Dr. Guri Skedsmo is Associate Professor at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research, University of Oslo in Norway and a Senior Researcher at the Institute of the Management and Economics of Education at the University of Teacher Education Zug in Switzerland. Her research interests include school governance, evaluation, and school leadership. Currently, she is involved in three research projects on the use of assessment data, school inspection and external evaluation to improve schools, and school change. She is coordinating PROFLEC together with Prof. Dr. Stephan Huber and she is also part of the core team in Norway. The last 12 years she has been actively involved in developing professional development programs for school leaders and she teaches at the Master Programme in Educational Leadership and the National Programme for Principals at the University of Oslo. |
